Edit Challenge 2025

This challenge is open to SBMM members

On New Years Day, please shoot 5 clips of 10 second each of anything you like. However, all the clips should ideally be of a related scene or subject.

Clips should be 1080P, 25 or 50 frames per second (preferably 50fps) and should include sound.

Please add your name into the title of the clips.

Upload the clips via the link below using WeTransfer by midnight, Sunday 5th January.

Clips will be collated and then made available to all members who will be challenged to make a film, lasting less than 3 minutes from those clips, on a theme associated with New Year or 2025 (this association can be as loose as you like).

Submitting your 5 video clips for the ‘New Year 2025’ Edit Exercise:

  1. Create a WeTransfer link for your 5x 10 seconds clips.(Click HERE to see how to upload to WeTransfer)
  2. Video makers name
  3. Your email address 
  4. Your agreement to these clips being added to the club’s archive and used for the Editing Challenge.
These are ALL required entries and must be completed.

Then simply click ‘Submit’
