The video upload page typically<\/span><\/span>*<\/span> requires the following information:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>

Video Maker(s) or Group<\/strong>:<\/span> This is the name of the individual or individuals or group making the film.<\/p>

Email<\/strong>: <\/span>Email address of the primary contact for the film. This should match with the email we hold on record for that member.<\/p>

Video title<\/strong>:<\/span>\u00a0 NOTE: It would be useful if you could include your name as the first part of the actual video submitted video file name eg ‘John Smith Travelling in Time.mp4’.\u00a0<\/p>

Length of video: <\/strong><\/span>in minutes and seconds<\/p>

Synopsis of Video<\/strong>:<\/span> This may appear in press reports, on the website, and can be useful for other purposes.<\/p>

Images from the Video:<\/strong><\/span> For promotional purposes, both inside and outside the club we would like three or four HD\u00a0 (1920 x 1080) images. (These may be stills from the film or behind the scenes shots)<\/p>

WeTransfer link<\/strong>:\u00a0<\/span> Please copy (share) the link and paste it into this box after you have uploaded the Video File and Images. Click HERE<\/a> for information about how to do this.<\/p>

UPDATE<\/em><\/span><\/a> : JANUARY 2025 <\/span><\/strong>Following issues with WeTransfer – slow uploads, limit to 10 uploads each 30 days, and 3 day expiry, SMASH is a highly rated alternative. Click for more information about how to use SMASH<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>

URL link to Online Video<\/strong>:<\/span> We encourage members to put their video online. This can be an unlisted link on YouTube, or a Vimeo link.\u00a0 If you do not provide a link, the video will be uploaded (initially unlisted) to SBMM YouTube to be used for the SBMM website (or by Judges if relevant)\u00a0 according the the users Permission. (See ‘Permissions’ below). However, using SBMM YouTube is not ideal as the video maker will lose direct control over their video.<\/p>
