Like having a computer that&#8217;s as adaptable and capable as a human mind.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">ASI (Artificial Superintelligence):<\/span><\/strong><br \/>A theoretical future AI system that would be far smarter than humans in virtually every field. Like having a mind that&#8217;s to human intelligence what human intelligence is to ant intelligence.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Safe ASI:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>The concept of developing superintelligent AI systems with reliable safeguards to ensure they remain beneficial and aligned with human values and wellbeing. Like creating an incredibly powerful tool that&#8217;s guaranteed to help rather than harm humanity.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Agents:<\/span><\/strong> <br \/>AI systems that can independently perform tasks, make decisions, and interact with their environment to achieve specific goals. It&#8217;s like how you learn to recognize cats after seeing many cat pictures, rather than memorizing a list of cat features.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Deep Learning:<\/span><\/strong> <br \/>A more complex type of machine learning using many layers of neural networks. It&#8217;s particularly good at handling complicated tasks like understanding speech or images.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Training Data:<\/span><\/strong> <br \/>The examples we feed to AI to help it learn &#8211; like showing a child many pictures while teaching them words.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Supervised Learning:<\/span><\/strong> <br \/>Teaching AI by showing it examples along with the correct answers, like a teacher grading homework.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Unsupervised Learning:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>Letting AI find patterns in data on its own, without telling it what to look for. Like letting someone group similar objects without telling them how to categorize them.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Reinforcement Learning:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>Teaching AI through trial and error with rewards for good outcomes. Like memorizing test answers without understanding the subject.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Hallucination:<\/span><\/strong> <br \/>When AI makes up information that sounds plausible but isn&#8217;t true. Like a student confidently giving a wrong answer while sounding convincing.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Dataset:<\/span><\/strong> <br \/>The collection of information used to train an AI. Like a library of examples the AI learns from.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Embedding:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>Converting words, images, or other data into numbers that AI can understand and work with. They&#8217;re the basic building blocks of modern AI.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Synthetic Data:<\/strong><\/span> <br \/>Artificially created information that mimics real data, used to train AI when real data is scarce or sensitive. It&#8217;s like creating realistic practice scenarios.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Inference:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>The process when an AI actually makes decisions or generates outputs using what it learned during training. It&#8217;s similar to how you use knowledge you&#8217;ve learned to answer questions on a test.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Distillation:<\/span><\/strong> <br \/>Making a smaller, faster AI model by having it learn from a larger model, like creating a compact &#8220;cliff notes&#8221; version that maintains most of the important capabilities.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Simulations:<\/span><\/strong> <br \/>Virtual environments where AI can practice and learn tasks safely before working in the real world. Like having a pocket dictionary versus a full encyclopedia.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Back Propagation:<\/span><\/strong> <br \/>The way neural networks learn from their mistakes by adjusting their weights backwards through the system.
