Seven clubs were invited to submit a film into the competition, Bristol Film and Video Society, Bournemouth, Sutton Coldfield, Edinburgh Cine and Video Society, Teign Film Makers Club, Virtual Video Group & South Downs Film Makers.<\/p>

All seven films were watched and judged prior to the evening by three members of Surrey Border Movie Makers, John Hawthorne (our competition officer), Cameron Gilroy and Andrew Hillary.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As the First World War raged across Europe a Bristol entrepreneur Robert Bush and his wife donated their house and spent a fortune creating a hospital for injured Australian soldiers.
