Unlike previous technologies, AI is advancing on monthly rather than generational timescales.<\/p><p>Image and video tools that felt experimental a year ago are now capable of producing work that would previously have required teams, budgets, and time. AI doesn\u2019t replace jobs all at once \u2014 it replaces tasks, steadily and quietly.\u00a0<\/p><p>This has implications far beyond filmmaking, and raises uncomfortable questions about work, inequality, and who controls these systems.
