Documentary Competition 2024
The annual Documentary Competition was held in September 2025.
The films and discussion completely filled the evening, and the attendees had a great evening of entertainment and education.
The competition is a great opportunity for our members to showcase their talents and have the opportunity to discuss their work with their peers.
There were 8 entries:

- Khiva by Peter Stratford 13’18”
- Cruising the Kiel Canal by Gillian Gatland 6’51”
The winner was decided by show of hands on the evening, who agreed that Peter Stratford’s video, ‘Uyuni’ was the overall winner. Peter’s other video, ‘Khiva’ was second, and Jonathan Hill’s video ‘Ghost of a Road’ was third.
